Reflections

I have always enjoyed shooting reflections of some sort, some more creative than others. This one was while I was out and about back in 2008 walking around a town here in Adams County. 

Sunrise Duck Hunt

The difference a few minutes makes when capturing a sun rise is crazy. The top image is of a few men  launching their boat to do some duck hunting. I took around 5:00 am, on a very cold winter morning as the sun began to rise over the city of Lancaster Pa. This shot is a river level of the Susquehanna River on the west side. The lights on the route 30 bridge can be seen fading into the sunrise. The image below was captured about twenty minutes later after they were launched and beginning to power up to head up river.

Prepping For Christmas Portraits

 It's nearly that time where everyone is planning their holiday cards to mail out. I am in the planning stages of offering portraits in a non-formal setting, candid's with a Christmas theme, such as the two examples here. Snack Time With JB

I recently was out and about in New Oxford for a memorial dedication event and my friend was there with her handsome little boy JB. He didn't want anything to do with me nor my camera. So, be just causal and patient, his mood lightened towards me and we captured a few just cute as the devil photos of him in front of the fountain on New Oxford's beautiful circle.

Jamaican Sunsets Rock

The sunsets are absolutely stunning in Jamaica. You can literally sit and do a one minute count down to when the sun melts into the ocean. We sat and watched this view every evening for several weeks while on vacation back in 1997 and 1998. 

Walk With Me

Big sister Cassidy takes her younger baby sister Marissa's hand and walks off through through the field as if protecting her to what might lie ahead. 

Inauguration Set Up

Days before the inauguraion of President Obama back in 2009.

This was a time exposure, which allowed for the capture of the city bus passing through the image leaving a light trail. Below shows the settings used for this image for those who always ask "how'd you do that?" Most times, my images are just trial and error.
