Shirley The Cat

About a year ago, my neighbors asked me if I would shoot a picture of their cat, Shirley. They had a frame that needed filled with a photo, and their pet seemed the logical choice. Meet Shirley, she was a natural, she stood there and basically posed for the camera, she only moved maybe once or twice the entire time.

The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

It's the most wonderful time of the year....and Dayne and his momma Kim took time out of their holiday schedule to shoot Christmas portraits with SJRoth Photography.  The big guy from the North Pole even made an appearance.

The war rages on as the 149th re-enactment of the Battle Of Gettysburg took place. It still amazes me what war looks like this close up, even if it was all pretend. Thankfully I have never experienced war first hand.

Naughty or Nice?

It;s Christmas portrait time again, and SJRoth Photography is hard at it shooting family keepsakes. Here is Caitlyn and Kylie having some fun with their session. 

Autumn Isn't Gone Yet

The calendar still say's it is Autumn out, even if old Mother Nature has recently had it feeling like the middle of winter here in south central Pennsylvania. This was the view in front of a home in Abbottstown Pennsylvania all decked out for fall. 

Overgrown Ugly

While I titled this as overgrown ugly, I do find it photographically interesting. 

This window is in a home along East King Street in Abbottstown Borough here in Adams County Pa.

Their whole home is being taken over by this vine, and I can only presume they are allowing this to happen because its so far gone for them to be able to remove it easily at this point, because it has to be doing damage to their home.

Reflections

I have always enjoyed shooting reflections of some sort, some more creative than others. This one was while I was out and about back in 2008 walking around a town here in Adams County.
